A playground for elephant and hippo

Chobe, Botswana

The Chobe River is a drawcard for massive herds of elephant and wildlife best viewed from boat safaris or land-based game drives.

Why I love it:
Chobe is alive with photographic possibility. There’s no way one can return from Chobe without something impressive or different captured in the viewfinder. I particularly enjoy Chobe around late October and November months, with the many migrant birds that flock to the area.
